How Does Search Engine Optimization Work?

How does search engine optimization work? Of all the things to learn about emarketing this is one area of knowledge that is least understood. I know that when I began my search to start a home based business, nothing but confusion came my way.

The information highway didn’t have any traffic cops. Too many people who didn’t know what they were talking about were providing most of the information and if it sounded convincing enough, that became the latest thing in SEO.

Google’s sand box was one of these confusions. Do they send web sites here if they have done something wrong? My image of it in my learning nightmare was of writhing entities wanting to be seen but lost in a world of nothingness. The Alcatraz of HTML.

Are Google meting out punishment to aspiring web masters just to scare them off? How does search engine optimization work so that we can know how to do it please! Are they out to get us?

They are if you are deliberately setting out to get round the guidelines that are set out to ensure that surfers get a satisfactory experience after typing in their keywords. Why don’t we do our best to go along with this ideal?

They don’t like people cheating their way to the top of the search results. Wherever that sand box is you will get to go there if you do. And anyway, why would you want to? Doing it the right way does the job just as well!

Precise positioning of keywords in all the important places so that the search engine robots can find them easily is something that can be learned in about half an hour. But only if you learn from someone who knows how. Try not to spend the first year of your efforts wandering about in a fog.

Find hot products and then the keywords that will attract the right people to your site. “How does search engine optimization work to effectively get you noticed by all those people who are looking?” is the right question. Only finding the right answers will deliver the goods.

How does search engine optimization work for all those people who don’t know how? It doesn’t!
